INSPIRATION
Kim and Rich had a perfect day when they were married at Rose dew Farm in the summer of 2021. We asked Kim to tell with us what made it particularly special for them, and to share some of the stunning photographs taken by Lee Brewer.
‘We chose to have our wedding in the Vale, having lived here nearly all my life. It was important to us that all of our friends and family were able to attend, and with so many stunning locations to choose from, it made complete sense to celebrate our day in an area that we love.’
‘Our favourite memory of the day was sitting at our reception, looking around the room and feeling so thankful that everyone was together and smiling after all the uncertainty with the Covid restrictions.’
‘I think our guests particularly enjoyed the band who performed in the evening. Being as it was the first day after Covid restrictions were lifted in Wales, we weren’t sure if we could have our band until the last minute, so it was the first time for most of our guests to be able to sing and dance - that was such as special time to share.’
‘We didn’t keep any arrangements secret but did have gifts for each other which were exchanged in the morning. I gave Rich a pin with a photo charm of his late Grandmother which was incredibly special to him.He also surprised me with some pink champagne and a stunning diamond bracelet.’
‘The best advice I would give to someone arranging their wedding celebrations is: be organised, stick to your budget and remember you can’t please everyone.’
‘The best advice we received was get a band! And in reality, they made the wedding day for all of us.’
